Chefs praise HPI-Bachelors

TeleClix CEO Alexander Schulz-Heyn is surprised about the engagement and the know-how of the HPI students:" It was very helpful to see, what new ideas we got during the software development from outside. As we did not need to invest money, the cooperation was in the end profitable." In a similar vein does Jürgen Dittrich, Chief Specialist for architecture and system design at IT Solutions, judge the cooperation: "We wanted to step into the technology of Smart Clients, but we did not have the manpower for it- therefore the HPI-students were very helpful in order to build an application in close cooperation with us.

Whereby Dittrich admits, that the product for the procession of business processes in coherence with internet auctions concerning its implementation is still in its alpha state. "A group of students from the HPI institute will promote the development in autumn." A further development was achieved during the Multimedia-Home-Platform-Project for TeleClix, which is available in a beta version. Schulz-Heyn thinks about buying from HPI as a licence owner the software and develop it until its readiness for marketing in his firm:"This would be a cool authoring tool." Christian Blees/rr
